How can you help?
We are now starting the search for our new volunteer manager to help support and guide us over the years to come, someone who has enthusiasm and enjoys working with adults and young people.
- Do you have the ability to motivate others?
- Do you know someone who can help us grow so that more young people have the opportunity to gain the skills for life that Scouting offers?
What’s in it for you?
You will be making a different to Young People by ensuring that the gain as much from their Scouting as possible, setting them up with skills for life. You will be working with a team of adults to ensure events are safe and well planned.
The soft people skills that you will use as a Group Scout Leader can enhance your CV and can be a great wat to demonstrate that you have those skills to prospective employers.
Know nothing about Scouts?
That’s not a problem, we can teach you everything that you need to know and we have a fantastic training scheme that can lead to a certified Open College Network qualification.
Why is this so important to Scouts?
We believe that Scouting in Blacktoft Beacon District has many amazing people. Ordinary people who together make extraordinary things happen. Helping these leaders deliver fantastic Scouting takes support and guidance from an inspiring leader.
We now need your support in finding the right person to inspire, motivate and encourage others.
